Logos on Server Graded Today

Open two folders that contain your sports logos: Macintosh HD and your server.

October Grades in Excel. I'll be looking at the cells with formulas within boxes.

Next up: Your sports logos in PS with slices that travel to the teams' websites. Save as a PSD, jpeg, and web device.

Put boxes around the cells that contain formulas (=sum(x+y).

Did you include the "Not Reported" column? Why not?

The Next Three Assignments

1. In Word, make a flyer for your academy using word art, clip art, and a PS picture.

2. Put the grading data for October 18 into an Excel format that follows the pattern of the September 18 grades.

3. Start collecting the team logos for all the franchises within a given sport. Put them into a folder and convert them in PS.

To your state gradient picture, add a symbol with a colored background to show where the state capital is. You may find your state capital location at 50states.com

Additionally, expand canvas space and type the capital name.

Photoshop

Add PS pictures eleven and twelve to your DW page.

Continue working on the Grant football game results.

Microsoft Word

Type the results from the Bell vs Grant football game.

The focus is working with tabs.

Next two PS pics

Do the next two PhotoShop pictures (9 & 10). Add them to your DW page along with pictures 1-8.

Show me your "Good Guys" rtf file, doc-to-doc link from the original article to your reflection, and lastly, a web page where your drop shadow and picture are centered.

Next Character Counts in Text Edit and Word

In TextEdit, type the next Character Counts ("Good Guys and Bad Guys"). Use a left tab for your name at 4.5 and a center tab at 2 and 5/8ths for the title.

Copy and paste into Word. Add some clip art. Save two ways, once as a regular Word doc and once as an htm web page.

Link your Word document to a Word reflection on the content of the original "Good-Guys-and-Bad-Guys" editorial.

Epicondylitis

To be graded Friday: Epicondylitis in Word, the Kardashian sisters in DW, and your Preview edit in DW whereby you eliminated IE and established FF as primary and Safari as secondary.

Still Grading

Get your work graded: 8 pictures in DW, Carpal Tunnel in Word, and DW hot links to your career locker suggested pathways.

Next SciTech / Health document = Epicondilytis (Tennis Elbow). Make a pictoral Word document link to three aspects of Epicondilytis.

Dreamweaver links to your career locker results

Put my web directions for logging into Career Locker and the Career Locker side-by-side in Safari or Firefox. Take a snap shot. Put the shot into your last-name folder and convert it to PS. While in PS, add three pictures with text over each following my web sample. Save both as a Photoshop PSD file and a jpeg. Open Dreamweaver and insert the latter image into a double table with black and grey borders, respectively. Make hot links to the Career Locker snap shots you took on Sept. 30, when Mr. Villagran was guiding you through the Career Locker website.
